The Orthodox Christian Churches

The Orthodox Church is one of the three largest Christian groups today (the other two are Roman Catholic and Protestant).

Approximately 300 million people worldwide follow the Orthodox tradition, living in Russia, Greece, Cyprus, Syria, Romania, Moldova and more.

Although Orthodox Christians share their traditions, rituals and worship, they are often identified by their geographical titles such as Russian, Romanian, Syrian, or Greek Orthodox, as each Orthodox belief is shaped by and incorporates their own cultural traditions.
